This video questions why people leave school or fail to graduate. Rather than focusing on the more commonly held idea of "drop outs," the video examines the trends of push-outs, and the many ways that young people feel discouraged by the educational system. Interviewing educational researchers, students, and each other, we try to present the stories behind the statistics.
Welcome Carmen Balentine, G.A.P.'s Newest Board Member

Global Action Project is proud to announce the latest addition to our Board of Directors, Carmen Balentine, a long-time leader in the non-profit world.
Carmen explains his commitment to Global Action Project: "As a video arts major in college, I explored themes of social inequities regarding race, class and sexuality through the creation of documentaries, short films and studio productions. At G.A.P., young people have the same ability to explore the root causes of injustices through media production and create videos that educate, inspire, and organize audiences locally and nationally. It is a great honor to be on the Board of Directors of Global Action Project."
We are proud and excited to have Carmen as a member of the Board. Welcome Carmen!
