Media in Action 2011

On the last weekend of July 2011, G.A.P. convened our Media in Action Institute, which focused on educational justice. We received more applications to participate than ever before: 90 organizations applied, with 33% from California alone. The institute trained the largest group of any Media in Action: 20 individual organizers from 10 organizations across the country. Participating groups were:
